I purchased this sprayer two years ago and have used it to paint the exterior of four homes. The first thing I did was replaced the spray gun with Graco’s SGPro gun and whip. Once this was installed it has worked with no problems. Just make sure you clean and lube it when your done.

The cleanout of the lines for the change to flat would require a gallon to paint doors. Airless lines hold up to a quart of paint. We’ll stick to hrbor freight hvlp andchea airless.

As a professional contractor with 7 painters working, productivity problems. when we paint, the hvlp unit is a cup gun for f doors shutters. this allows for a quart of paint for doors. the doors are satin. the ohangs are fflat. this tool would tie up the airless sprayer whil someonewas painting the doors. the material waste.

@lucasmorter Lmao. Sad but true. I meant to say ask the Milwaukee rep. himself. Home depo doesn’t train people for every tool to understand all the ins and outs, but the actual Rep for Milwaukee will know.

@eyeneed6969 ONLY PROBLEM IS THERE ARE NO KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE AT THE TYPES OF PLACES THAT WOULD SELL THIS HA HA HA. NEVER ASK FOR PAINT ADVICE AT HOME DEPOT OR LOWES

@lucasmorter I would think it should work, but you would use a different tip size for such fine painting. I had asked a dealer about it, and he laughed but said it would work for all aplications of painting. But just ask a knowledgable person when buying it.

anyone tried this? i am curious if i gould use the turbin aire hvlp featur for automotive painting, what you think? if i were to use a different tip? i want to buy this thig but it would be a bonus for me if i could spray a car with it. i do not have space for a large compressor at my home and would like to get back in to automotive painting.
